Because we much of our Facebook work on our phone, it's best to utilize Facebook's Business Suite app (previously the Facebook Pages app.) Although you can use the normal Facebook app for quick things like posting, commenting, etc. Just click the flag icon at the bottom of your screen to select your business page. Creator Studio is another app used to schedule/post/reschedule content (I don't use this one as frequently on my phone. I use Creator Studio on desktop.) Go ahead and download the apps and spend 10-15 minutes navigating around.

Now that you have a Facebook page and you have the Pages Manager app on your phone, it is time you start growing that audience. More followers mean more customers and more customers mean a better bottom line!

Determine Your Brand Pillars

It is important that all your social media content is connected so people know what to expect when they come to your page or see you on their feed. You want your content to be consistent and represent who you are and what you do.

  1. Do a brain dump of all the things you do in your business.
  2. Next add parts of your personal life you want to share.
  3. Group similar things together.
  4. Pick 3-5 brand pillars to help guide your content. You will use these to help filter what you post. If something isn't in alignment with these pillars, you will really need to give extra thought if you want to post it.
  5. For example, my brand pillars are family, faith, business, home, and beauty.
